(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Resident editor of daily ‘Nawa-i-Waqt’, Javed Siddiq said that the western states are doing a negative propaganda against Iran’s help to Syria.
“Iran is trying to help out the people of Syria,” he said.
The journalist expressing his views said that the Arab League is not an independent organization and towing the American policies. “They are under American influence,” he noted.
Arab League foreign ministers have called on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to step down.
Javed Siddiq that the west and the Arab League are building pressure on Bashar al-Assad. “They want to change the government in Syria because Bashar al-Assad is challenging the Zionist regime’s hegemony in the region,” said the analyst.
He was of the opinion that US is eager to send international troops into Syria to topple the government of Bashar al-Assad. “Their efforts have been failed so far as China and Russia had used their veto power against such resolution,” said the editor.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast has said that the six-point peace plan proposed by the UN envoy Kofi Annan is currently the best way out of Syria crisis.
He stressed the need to stop foreign meddling in internal affairs of Syria as a main factor to prepare the grounds for implementation of Annan’s plan.
Javed Siddiq said that the US is against all those Muslim rulers who are not accepting their policies and offering resistance to the American aggression in the world.
Answering a question he said that Islamic Republic of Iran is against the foreign intervention in Syria and is trying all out efforts to find out a peaceful solution to the crisis in Arab state.
The analyst agreed with the notion that Muslims in Myanmar, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and Afghanistan are being killed as part of a conspiracy. “Today the Muslims are oppressed they are being killed in every part of the world,” he went on to say.
He urged Muslims to shun their differences and unite against anti-Islam conspiracies. Javed Siddiq strongly believed that western elements are creating differences among Muslim Ummah to weaken Islamic world.
